Famous actors such as David Soul and Dame Harriet Walter will be among a galaxy of stars reading short stories at the Duke of Devonshire’s private theatre in Chatsworth House.
David, the original actor from Starsky and Hutch, and Tony award-winner Dame Harriet will be joined by Stephen Tobolowsy (from Glee), Alistair McKenzie (Monarch of the Glen), Guy Paul (Mary Stuart on Broadway) American John Schwab (The Leisure Society at Trafalgar Studios) and New Zealander Rebecca Hobbs (The Ugly).
Don Chaon, regarded as one of America’s finest living writers, will also be in attendance at the event on Wednesday, July 11, 2012.
Tickets are limited to 100.
